IN ORDER TO ACCESS CPT SERVICES USERS MUST FOLLOW THE SAFETY MEASURES LISTED BELOW
- If the sample is a biological sample different from class risk n 1 it is mandatory to advise the technician.
- Samples must be carried in closed boxes.
- Please use DPI in a proper way (gloves, lab coat and, if needed, protective goggles).
- DO NOT TOUCH door handle and telephone with gloves, even if they are cleaned.
- Please dispose Biological and Chemical waste in conformity to University and CPT rules.
- Please be aware of the emergency procedures.
- At the end of the session, please clean machines and workspace properly. Trow away or bring with you the samples or whatever material you introduced in the room.
- At the end of the session every user is responsible for data export and backup. Do not keep your data on the machines. CPT is not responsible for user’s data backup and can proceed to erase or formatting disks at anytime, if needed, and for whatever reason.
- Any problem with the machines must be told immediately to the technicians.
- For safety reasons, if technicians are not present, the access to the facility can be done only if 2 people (at least) are present in the lab, both properly trained for emergency management. In order to access the facility it is mandatory the accomplishment of the health and safety training , specifically organized for people doing scientific research.
- In case of injuries, lab accidents or any other problem, please call immediately the technician.
